How do I buy a preamp?
This business operates an online shop which is like every other online shop.
If the product is in stock you can buy it there and then. Go to the shop and click the model you want, select the colour variant you want and click PURCHASE.
If it is not in stock, you can not buy it at that time.
To keep things fair for everyone, we do not take special arragements such as pre-orders or reservations.
When will they be in stock?
There will be plenty of builds available in the coming weeks. The shop has just opened so there's a rush at the moment but this will settle down, it's just going to take a little time. Your patience here is appreciated.
What specific date will they be available?
Even if I could see into the future and knew this, I’m not going to make it public. This gives everyone the same opportunity to buy and keeps it fair.
You can sign up to be notified by email when they are available.
How do I sign up for in stock email notifications?
-Go to the shop
-Click the model you want to be notified for.
-If there are colour variants, select the colour variant you want to be notified for.
-Add your email address into the box that appears and click the SIGN UP button.
-Make sure it says ‘Signed up!’. If it says ‘Signed up!’ then you are signed up and don’t need to message us to confirm that you are signed up.
Unfortunately you will need to sign up again if you miss out, we’re unable to save your address once an ‘in stock’ email has been sent out.
How will I pay?
With your debit/credit card (and ONLY your debit/credit card).
Prices and payments are in GBP. Please be aware that your bank may charge you a currency conversion fee. To avoid this you might consider a getting card from Revolut or Transferwise. These are not necessarily recommendations.
Payment service is provided by Stripe.
Can I have it customised?
Not any more, prebuilt models from the online store only.
Various different front panel and knob colours are available.
How deep is it?
Would love to know why this is suddenly a frequently asked question, literally no one cared before but anyway…14cm from the front panel to the rear, including the knob(s).
Will I have to pay import fees?
If you’re not in the UK then you will almost definitely need to pay import VAT (and any processing fees).
The country of origin will be marked as GB and this will stop any additional tariffs/duties but you will still have the import VAT+fees to pay (this applies to countries with an appropriate trade agreement with Great Britian, which is most countries and covers all of the EU).
It won’t be marked as a ‘gift’ for you, we are an actual proper company and aren’t up for commiting international tax fraud. It wouldn’t even stop the charges anyway.
If you are in the UK you will need to pay 20% UK VAT instead of any import charges.
